Non-ALTA 2006 • 313 LOCATION 5 ENDORSEMENT (SURVEY) Location Endorsement — Form 5, commonly referred to as the “survey” endorsement, is available for owner’s and loan policies. This endorsement provides insurance in the event that the survey identified in the endorsement does not accurately depict the exterior boundaries and dimensions of the Land or does not disclose any encroachments or easements which are not already raised as exceptions on Schedule B. This endorsement usually is available only upon our receipt and examination of a current and reliable survey. Many jurisdictions require that the survey be drawn to ALTA standards and be certified to Chicago Title Insurance Company. Location 5 Endorsement (Survey)
